Hi, I’m Reuben!
My expertise as a product designer lies in creating meaningful design solutions supported by solid user research findings. Working with diverse product teams in the EdTech industry for more than three years has greatly shaped my work style, which is heavily influenced by the agile methodology.
As a designer, I strive to create memorable emotional and sensory experiences in addition to ensuring a seamless user journey. Gaining a better understanding of how I can accomplish this led me to the University of Michigan's MSI program, where I've been able to learn more about human-centered design in a variety of contexts such as IoT devices, Mixed Reality, and the Automotive UX space, where I'm working on incredible projects with General Motors and Hyundai Research.

Things I’m passionate about…
Visualizing Ideas through Art
I’ve been doodling ever since I can remember and have always tried wacky craft projects. Some of my artworks range from canvas paintings to digital rendering to creating a functional Batman helmet that lights up! I have also done a bunch of Graphic Design projects on themes such as infographics, semiotics and post-modernism.
Learning Music Instruments
I have learned classical piano (Trinity College: Grade 5) and picked up the ukulele on my own during the pandemic. Knowing the theory and science behind music has tuned my brain to focus on the subtle beauty of a composition, which I tend to enjoy more than lyrics.
Sports
You will always find me checking up the scores of my favorite teams and staying up late to watch the Champions League and the NBA. Playing soccer and basketball is one of my go-to’s for a relaxing day. I’ve also attended 10+ football games at the Michigan Stadium (Go Blue!).
